Indian based Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) Company has submitted the lowest bid for the 380kV Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear and reactors project in northern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A total of six (6) bidders has submitted the proposal.
L&T has quoted the price of SAR 49.9 million (1$=3.75 SAR).
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes Installation of four (4) numbers 380kV Line Shunt Reactors with the required 380kV Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear (HGIS), Neutral Grounding Reactors, Surge arresters, etc., two (2) each at existing Waad Al-Shamaal 380kV BSP & ARAR BSP including complete protection, metering, control, communication and modification. The new items installed shall be equipped with Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA system, communication System and gateway. The monitoring Control and Protection system shall be IEC 61850 Standard based on Substation Automation System.
