Ministry of Housing announced the bid results for 132kV Overhead transmission line project for Riyadh in Central region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The transmission line will be constructed between the substations numbers 8312 and 9018 of Riyadh area.
Saudi based Delta Company has submitted the lowest bid. A total of eight (8) bidders has submitted the proposal.
Delta Company has quoted the price of SAR 18.9 million (1$=3.75 SAR).
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes design and construct of one (1) new 132kV double circuits Overhead transmission line , three phase, single conductor per phase, vertical configuration, (1X402 mm²) ACSR “CONDOR” conductor on the latticed steel Towers.
Total approximate route length = 6.30 kilometers
Project Scope of work also includes two (2) 132 kV underground cable circuits, each circuit consisting of 3X1CX2000mm², Cu, XLPE, Single cable per phase with metallic shield copper wire and copper tape, complete with all required link boxes, SVLs, insulated joints, earthing, other accessories and indoor SF6/outdoor terminations
Total approximate route length = 6.6 Kilometres
The Project has been floated by Ministry of Housing and supervised by Saudi Electricity Company.
