The Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has announces the bid results for the planned 1.5GW Solar Power capacity under its Dabdaba project.
China based (Please subscribe to view details) has submitted the lowest bid of 11 fills/kW.
A total of seven companies has submitted the proposal.
The Dabdaba complex will be constructed within the Al-Shagaya Renewable Energy Park, near the Saudi Arabian border. The scope of work includes the supply and construction of the solar park, and operations and maintenance (O&M) for 25 years.
Earlier, during September 2018, KNPC issued the tender and the bid submission date was extended several times.
The project will be implemented in line with Kuwait’s goal to source 15% of its total power from renewable by 2030.
