Bahrain’s Electricity & Water Authority (EWA) announces the bid results for the water transmission facilities for East Hidd and South Bahrain (Madinat Khalifa).
Water Transmission Facilities for South Bahrain (Madinat Khalifa):
Turnkey Contract Package covering all the Water Distribution Station and the associated Transmission pipeline works for South Bahrain Housing Development.
The Contract comprises the construction of 2 No. RCC Storage Tanks of minimum 5 Million Gallons capacity each, a fully automated Distribution pumping station of 10 million gallons per day ultimate capacity.
A total of five (5) bidders has submitted the proposals. Faisal Co. for Electrical & Mechanical has submitted the lowest bid of BHD 11.8 million.
Water Transmission Facilities for East Hidd:
Turnkey Contract Package covering the permanent Distribution Station Works at East Hidd Housing Development.
The contract comprises partially buried RCC Storage Reservoir of Minimum 2 Million Gallons Capacity and an associated fully automated Distribution Pumping Station with variable speed pumps of about 5 Million gallons per day ultimate Capacity and other associated facilities.
A total of four (4) bidders has submitted the proposals. Faisal Co. for Electrical & Mechanical has submitted the lowest bid of BHD 6.4 million.
The two projects are funding by Saudi Fund for Development.
