Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Bahrain awarded the project “Operation and maintenance of Madinat Salman Sewage Treatment Plant, STP”.
The project has been awarded to WABAG Operation and Maintenance WLL Bahrain, a subsidiary of WABAG, India.
The value of signed contract is BHD 4,317,676.703.
Madinat Salman Sewage Treatment Plant, STP is having the capacity of 40,000 cu.m/day serving the new town of Madinat Salman on an artificial island of Bahrain’s northern coast.
The plant will have the scope to treat an additional 20,000 cu.m/day.
Earlier, the project was built by Wabag as an EPC basis. Stantec Khonji was the project management consultant.
