Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project for Rehabilitation of New Air Force (NAF) 110kV Substation in Jeddah.
The Project has been awarded to Saudi based construction Company, NESMA Telecom and Technology – NESMA Electric, a subsidiary of NESMA Holding.
The value of Signed contract is SAR 34,950,000.
As per the terms of the project, contractor will execute the works on lump sum turnkey basis for Engineering, Procurement and Construction for the Rehabilitation of 110/13.8kV Substation that was burnt due to fire incident.
Existing available Gas Insulated Switchgear and Power Transformers will be utilized for this project.
The project scope of works includes 13.8kV Switchgear, Protection & Control System, Substation Automation System, Telecom System, Civil Works and Electro-Mechanical Works.
Contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 24 months from Contract Signing Date.
