TDP secures $4.5 million 132kV OHTL Project

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Construction of 132kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) for Howtah Bani Tamim  Substation 8720 ” in Kharj region.

The Project has been awarded to local construction company,  TDP – Trading & Development Partnership.

The value of signed contract is SAR 17,183,836.

The project involves the design and construction of four (4) 132kV OHTL to connect the Howtah Bani Tamim  Substation 8720 with the SEC network.

Approximate route length of total OHTL route is 2.75km.

Project scope of work also includes 132kV,1200 Sq.mm cable and associated modifications.

Approximate route length of total 132kV Cable route is 2.8km.

The new OHTL will be installed on latticed steel tower in vertical configuration.

The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.

The substation portion of the project had been awarded to Bin Omairah Company for Contracting. (read more)
