Bahrain announces bid prices for utility diversion of Metro Corridor

Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications (MTT), Bahrain announces the bidders prices for Consultancy services of Utility Diversion in Metro Corridor.

Earlier, during August 2021, three bidders has submitted the proposals. (read more)

Canadian firm, SNC-Lavalin has submitted the lowest bid. The firm has submitted the price of BHD 595,650. Other bidders who submitted the proposals includes ESBI Engineering (BHD 1,574,475) and Mott MacDonald (BHD 1,648,500).

As per the tender notification, consultants to carry out the consultancy services to prepare Bahrain Metro Project corridor (Enabling work design for phase 1 and phase 1a).

The scope of work includes planning and designing the utilities diversion conflicting the corridor and also propose new corridors for the diverted utilities by co-ordination and approval of the relevant authorities such as Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) and all relevant authorities.

The phase 1 of Bahrain Metro Project is approximately 28.6 km long with 20 stations and approximately 8 km long with 4 stations for phase 1a.
