Saudi’s RCJY awards $426.6m Sea Water Cooling Project in Jazan

Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY), Saudi Arabia announced through Twitter, that it has awards sea water cooling project at Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries (JCPDI) in Jazan, Southern region of Saudi Arabia.

The value of signed contract is SAR 1.6 billion (USD 426.6 million).

The Project has been awarded to China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC).

The contract period of the project is 42 months.

The main Works of the project includes the design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the first-phase seawater cooling system, mainly including 6.7 kilometers of offshore HDPE water intake pipelines, water intake facilities, pumping stations, etc., and 8.2 kilometers of onshore GRP pipelines and accessories, shore Side drains, supporting suites, etc.
