Al-Babtain Power and Telecommunication Co., Saudi Arabia Announces that it has signed a steel towers supply contract for the 500kV HVDC overhead transmission line project.
The contract was awarded by main EPC, Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.
The value of the contract is SAR 777.2 million.
The duration of the contract is 24 months.
Earlier, Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. announces that it has awarded $725 million 500kV HVDC Transmission Line Project. The project involves constructing a 369 km (Section 1) of ultra-high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines connecting the PP14 power plant in Riyadh to the coastal region of Kudmi in the Southwest.
