Ssangyong E&C awarded $230 million Contract in UAE

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction (Ssangyong E&C), South Korea has announced that it has recently awarded a contract for the construction of the “Immersive Tower” luxury office building, located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) area.

The project is valued at approximately $230 million.

Since its establishment in 2004, DIFC has rapidly become a major financial hub in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. By securing this project, Ssangyong E&C will collaborate with major clients in Dubai, including the Dubai Investment Corporation (ICD), Wasl, and Emaar.

The project involves constructing a premium office tower with three basement levels and 36 above-ground floors, totaling a floor area of 114,474 square meters. It will receive the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification, recognized globally for sustainable building practices. Especially, Ssangyong E&C previously completed the ICD-Brookfield Place, a 54-story office tower with seven basement levels, also within the DIFC, in 2020 as part of a joint venture.
