Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. (E&C), South Korea announces that it has awarded new 380kV Overhead Transmission line (OHTL) Contracts in Saudi Arabia.
The combined value of the contract is USD 389 million.
The Company stated that it has obtained two separate orders from Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) to install 380-kilovolt transmission lines in Madinah and Jeddah by November 2027.
A combined 491 kilometers of transmission lines will be built to deliver electricity from solar power plants in the western part of the country to substations in Madinah and Jeddah, it said.
Earlier, during November 2024, the company awarded $725 million worth Contract in Saudi Arabia. (read more)
