Abraj Energy Services SAOG, Oman announces that it has been awarded a contract for the Provision and Operation of an Onshore Drilling Unit related to Block 61.
The contract was awarded by BP Exploration (Epsilon) Limited.
The expected revenue from this contract is approximately OMR 14 million (USD 36.3 million) over the agreed period.
The company stated, that the rig, which was previously stacked after the contract expiry with the same customer last year, is planned to start operations in Q4 2025.
The duration of the contract is three years, renewable for an additional two years.
