Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) invites bids for the construction of 400kV and 132kV Substation Projects.
The 400kV Substation Project is related to Construction of Majan 400/220/132kV Grid Station along with Associated 400kV LILO (Underground Cables) from SFZ Grid Station to SIS Grid Station.
The 132kV Substation Project is related to Construction of Sultan Haitham City 132/33kV Grid Station and Associated 132kV LILO (Underground Cables) from Mobillah Grid Station to Mobillah Industrial Grid Station.
OETC sets the bid submission date as 22 July 2025.
Oman Electricity Transmission Company SAOG (OETC) has a vital role in Oman’s electricity sector, as it owns and operates the main transmission network across the Sultanate, through which electricity is transmitted from the generating stations to the distribution load centres in all governorates of the Sultanate. The main electricity transmission network operates at a high voltage of 132kV and above. OETC also has the responsibility of balancing generation and demand at all times of the day as part of its responsibilities for the economic dispatch of power in the Sultanate.
