Nesma awarded $118.6 million 230/115kV BSP Contract

Nesma Infrastructure & Technology, Saudi Arabia announces that it has signed a new Contract with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).

The value of the contract is around SAR 445 million.

As per the contract, the company will construct Jubail Community (7AB) 230/115 kV Bulk Supply Point (BSP), along with the required 230 KV transmission lines integration in the Eastern Operating Area, Jubail Area.

The duration of the Project is 20 months.

Earlier, the company announces that it has awarded $128 million worth power projects from SEC. (read more).

A Bulk Supply Point (BSP) substation is a major electrical substation that connects the high-voltage transmission network to the lower-voltage distribution network, stepping down voltage for regional distribution. Key components include high-voltage switchgear and large transformers, providing a critical interface to supply electricity to a large number of primary substations for onward distribution to customers.
