Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) Announces the completion of the signing of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Contract to Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company (SABCO) and Bechtel Australia PTY LTD.
The value of the contract is SAR 391.1 million (USD 104.3 million).
As part of the contract, Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company (SABCO) and Bechtel Australia PTY LTD will provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services for the construction of Al Rjum mine project which is expected to produce 3.6 million ounces of gold over a Life of Mine of 12 years, with an estimated annual production of 300,000 ounces.
The duration of the contract is 39 months.
