India’s KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group Company, has announces that it has secured a new Substation Project in Saudi Arabia. The Project is largest ever Substation order.
The value of the contract is Rs. 1,038 crore.
Project Scope of work includes Design, Supply and Installation of 380 kV GIS Substation in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd. commented, “We are delighted with the successive order wins in our T&D business. In a landmark achievement, we have secured our largest ever substation order. This prestigious order in the Middle East has widened our portfolio and strengthened our presence in the region. With this strategic win, our YTD order intake has surpassed Rs 16,000 crore, representing a healthy growth of ~20%.”
The Company ealier awarded 380kV Overhead transmission line (OHTL) Contract in Saudi Arabia. The value of the contract is Rs. 1,064 crore.
