Northern Region Cement Company (NRCC), Saudi Arabia announces the signing of a contract for the construction of solar power plant in Turaif City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Project was awarded to Sinoma Overseas Development Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese company in the cement industry and integrated engineering services provider with its business focused on cement EPC.
The value of the contract USD 8.7 million.
The contract intends to set up a 20MWp PV Power Plant on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis framework in Turaif City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
For this purpose, the Sinoma company will carry out the full scope of engineering, procurement, supply and delivery to during the contract duration time, in addition to civil construction, installation, and commissioning to ensure the project is fully operational. The scope of work also includes all buildings, offices, infrastructure, fences, and gates within the project site, as well as the engineering design of the project, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
The duration of the project is 10 months.
