CWHI (CNOOD-Wenchong Heavy Industries), China announces that it has successfully delivered Buoyancy Tanks to QatarEnergy LNG for the NFPS COMP2 Project in Qatar.
Each tank measures up to 48.5m in length, 6.3m in diameter and weighs nearly 356 MT – contributing to a total delivery of 2,281 MT.
The scope for COMP2 goes beyond buoyancy tanks, covering the fabrication and project management of tubulars, cones, piles, and subassemblies that will form key elements of the Jacket Structures, Compression Platforms, Living Quarters, and more. We also supplied high-grade offshore plates for the project, the company stated.
