Ministry of Electricity & Water & Renewable Energy, Kuwait awards the Operation and Maintenance Contracts related to 132/300/400 kV Substations.
The contracts was awarded to the following firms:
- Siemens Energy
- Al-ahleia Switchgear Company
- Hitachi Energy
- Toshiba Power Systems
- GRID SOLUTIONS SAS
- Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
Project scope of work involves maintenance and repair of major equipment and its associated equipment in 132/300/400 kV Substations. Preventive maintenance of all the equipment will be carried out as per manufacturer’s recommendation. Supply of various spare parts also part of the contract.
