Riyadh Cement Co. announces that it has awarded a contract for an electrical grid station under the Liquid Fuel Displacement Program, to complete the electricity supply project for the Company’s plant in Nisah, on an EPC contract basis.
The value of the contract is SAR 85 million. The contract was awarded to Chengdu Design & Research Institute.
This project is expected to enhance energy efficiency, reduce emissions from electricity generation within the Company’s facilities, and improve the reliability of the Company’s operational processes, thereby supporting stable production operations from the start of commissioning, statement mentioned.
The project aims to enhance the efficiency of current production lines and contribute to supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, in addition to achieving the objectives of the Liquid Fuel Displacement Program, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, as well as improving energy efficiency and supporting environmental sustainability.
