VA TECH WABAG (‘WABAG’), a leading pure-play water technology Indian multinational group, has secured a Letter of Award for a large repeat order from the Saudi Water Authority (‘SWA’) for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of an advanced technology Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) plant with a capacity of 50 Million Litres per Day (MLD).

The project will be developed at Al Jouf in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As per the company’s order classification, a “large” order falls within the value range of USD 30 million to USD 75 million.

Under the scope of the contract, WABAG will design, supply, construct, and commission the 50 MLD BWRO plant within a period of fourteen (14) months, deploying state-of-the-art water treatment technologies.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Phani Sathish Kadiyala, Country Manager & Branch GM – KSA, said:“We are honoured to receive this repeat order from our esteemed customer, Saudi Water Authority, and sincerely thank them for their continued confidence in WABAG. This award reflects the Kingdom’s proactive adoption of next-generation water treatment technologies and further reinforces WABAG’s leadership in advanced solutions such as BWRO, SWRO, and recycle-and-reuse systems. We remain fully committed to delivering this state-of-the-art facility to the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance, in alignment with the Kingdom’s vision and its focus on sustainable, technology-driven water infrastructure.”
