Chiyoda Corporation (Chiyoda), Japan announces that it has been awarded a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contract by QatarEnergy LNG, subsidiary of QatarEnergy for the North Field West (NFW) Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) onshore facilities, Ras Laffan, Qatar.
The NFW project is QatarEnergy’s third expansion of LNG production from North Field, which will increase Qatar’s LNG production capacity to 142 MTPA upon project completion.
As a comprehensive engineering company, Chiyoda has provided engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance services in a wide range of business fields including oil & gas, chemicals and petrochemicals in approximately 60 countries and regions around the world since its founding in 1948.
Chiyoda has executed over 100 projects for clients in Qatar with its local group company Chiyoda Almana Engineering LLC and continues contributing to Qatar’s LNG production expansion through this FEED contract, statement mentioned.
