Kuwait Oil Company Signs $676.8 million Major Logging and Perforation Services Contracts

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has Signed a series of contracts for the provision of logging and perforation services as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance upstream oil and gas operations.

The combined value of the awarded contracts stands at approximately KWD 208 million, equivalent to around USD 676.8 million, reflecting KOC’s continued investment in advanced oilfield services and production efficiency.

The contracts have been awarded to four internationally recognized service providers. Western Atlas International LLC secured a contract valued at KWD 56.34 million, while Halliburton Overseas Ltd was awarded a contract worth approximately KWD 46.12 million. China National Logging Corporation received a contract valued at about KWD 50.09 million, and Weatherford was awarded a contract amounting to nearly KWD 55.49 million.

These contracts cover specialized logging and perforation services, which are critical for reservoir evaluation, well completion, and optimizing hydrocarbon recovery. The awards underscore KOC’s strategy to collaborate with leading global service providers to support sustainable production growth and operational excellence across Kuwait’s oil fields.
