Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has awarded a major contract for the maintenance and repair of storage tanks at the Mina Abdullah Refinery.
The contract has been awarded to Tariq Al-Ghanim General Trading & Contracting Company (W.L.L.) (ALMEN), a leading contractor with extensive experience in industrial maintenance and energy infrastructure projects.
Valued at KWD 15.3 million, the project aims to enhance the operational reliability, safety, and efficiency of critical storage assets supporting Kuwait’s downstream oil and fuel distribution operations.
The scope of work includes tanks and related facilities within the Environmental Fuel Facilities, Shuaiba Depot, and Local Marketing installations.
This award reflects KNPC’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high operational standards across its refining and storage facilities, while supporting qualified local contractors in delivering strategic projects within Kuwait’s energy sector.
