SUNPURE announces that it will supply UAE’s first photovoltaic (PV) project to adopt PV module fitting robots, marking a major milestone in smart solar construction.
The Al Ajban PV Project officially commenced module installation, signaling a new era of automation in renewable energy development.
At the launch ceremony, SUNPURE’s Saturn PV module fitting robot attracted strong attention for its advanced performance, featuring integrated forklift feeding without additional equipment, an installation capacity of 75–80 modules per hour—four to five times faster than manual methods—and TÜV certification with multi-NOC approvals, ensuring zero module damage.
In addition, SUNPURE will deploy nearly 3,000 Venus PV cleaning robots at the site, operating daily to safeguard power generation efficiency.
SUNPURE extends its gratitude to EWEC, TAQA Group, Masdar, EDF, and POWERCHINA, and remains committed to delivering stable, efficient, and reliable robotic solutions throughout the project lifecycle, statement mentioned.
