WSP has marked a significant milestone with the official signing of an engagement letter with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) to develop MODON’s Carbon Neutrality Strategy. This strategic collaboration represents a defining step towards achieving net-zero emissions across MODON’s industrial cities, in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s national climate ambitions and sustainability priorities.

The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Majed Al-Argoubi, Chief Executive Officer of MODON, and Kathleen McGrail, Global Lead and Middle East Managing Director at WSP, alongside senior representatives from both organizations. The engagement underscores a shared commitment to advancing decarbonization and supporting the Kingdom’s transition to a low-carbon economy.

Under this partnership, WSP will leverage its global expertise in sustainability, climate strategy, and energy transition to support MODON in delivering one of the Kingdom’s most impactful decarbonization initiatives. The strategy will establish a clear and structured pathway toward carbon neutrality, while accelerating progress toward Saudi Arabia’s net-zero targets.

This collaboration reflects MODON’s strong commitment to Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s broader sustainability agenda. WSP is proud to contribute to shaping a resilient, sustainable, and low-carbon future for Saudi Arabia.
