Lamprell Awarded EPC Contract in UAE

Lamprell announces that it has been awarded an EPC contract by Dubai Petroleum for the Dubai Supply Authority’s Margham gas storage and processing facility in the UAE, which forms part of the wider Sunrise Development Programme. The expansion project supports future capacity enhancements required to meet projected gas demand and the integration of renewable energy sources for end users across the Emirates.

Lamprell’s scope includes engineering, procurement and construction of civil works, pipe rack structures and associated infrastructure installation. The project will be delivered by Lamprell’s onshore division, reflecting the Group’s strategic focus on expanding its onshore EPC capabilities.

Ian Prescott, CEO of Lamprell, commented:“Expanding our onshore EPC capability is a key pillar of Lamprell’s strategy, and this award directly supports that objective. We appreciate the confidence DPE has placed in Lamprell and look forward to working with our long-standing, valued client. Delivering critical energy infrastructure in the UAE strengthens our onshore portfolio, demonstrates local execution capability, and positions the business for further growth in this market.”

Lamprell Managing Director – Onshore EPC, Massimo De Camillis, commented:“We are proud to support this important phase of the Margham expansion programme and to continue a long-standing relationship with DPE that has been built over many years. This award reinforces Lamprell’s established onshore EPC capability and our proven ability to execute critical infrastructure projects in the UAE. Our team is committed to delivering responsibly and to the high standards expected by our client, and we appreciate the trust DPE has placed in Lamprell.”
