Oman National Engineering & Investment Co. SAOG (ONEIC) announces that Oman Electricity Transmission Company SAOC has awarded the company a contract valued at OMR 31,899,948 on 22 February 2026.
The project involves the construction of the 132/33kV Sultan Haitham City Grid Station, along with associated 132kV overhead transmission lines connecting Mabella Industrial Grid Station to Mabella Grid Station. The scope of work will be executed over a period of 18 months from the date of award.
This significant award further strengthens ONEIC’s position in the power transmission and infrastructure sector in the Sultanate of Oman. The project forms part of several major contracts recently secured by the company, reflecting its technical expertise, engineering excellence, and strong project execution capabilities.
ONEIC anticipates that the project will contribute positively to its revenue stream while enhancing its experience in delivering complex transmission infrastructure projects, supporting Oman’s ongoing power sector development.
