Red Sea International Co. announces that its subsidiary, The Fundamental Installation for Electric Work Co., has signed a strategic framework agreement with King Salman International Airport Development Company in relation to the enabling works at the King Salman International Airport project in Riyadh.
The agreement, signed on 18 February 2026, sets out the general terms and conditions under which future enabling works will be executed through specific call-offs, work orders, or purchase orders as they arise.
Under the framework, The Fundamental Installation for Electric Work Co. will be responsible for supplying, installing, testing, commissioning, and handing over all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) enabling works. The final contract value will be determined based on actual execution quantities under future orders issued during the agreement’s validity. The project is expected to extend over 48 months, with financial impact starting in Q1 2026.
This agreement highlights the company’s role in major infrastructure developments and reinforces its position as a leading integrated MEP contractor in the Saudi market.
In another statement, the company announced that, The Fundamental Installation for Electric Work Co., has signed a significant subcontract agreement to carry out comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works at a major project in Riyadh. The contract was signed on 18 February 2026 with the ABCC-UCC Joint Venture, comprising Al Bawani Co. Ltd. and Urbacon Saudi W.L.L., marking an important milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion in the construction and engineering sector.
Under the terms of the agreement, Fundamental Installation will oversee the engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and final hand-over of all MEP systems for the project. The contract duration is set for 12 months, with the scope designed to support the efficient delivery of high-quality infrastructure works that adhere to industry standards.
