National Petroleum Services Company (NAPESCO), a Kuwait-based oilfield services provider, has announced that it has received a letter of award from Kuwait Oil Company for the provision of cementing and associated services supporting drilling and workover operations for unconventional oil and gas activities.
The contract has a total value of KWD 11,935,860 (approximately USD 38.7 million) and covers the delivery of specialized cementing services as well as related operational support required for unconventional drilling programs.
Under the agreement, National Petroleum Services Company will provide cementing and associated services to support drilling and workover operations as part of Kuwait Oil Company’s ongoing efforts to develop unconventional hydrocarbon resources in the country.
The contract is scheduled to commence on 23 March 2026 and will remain in effect until 23 October 2031, spanning a period of more than five years.
The award reflects Kuwait Oil Company’s continued investment in expanding unconventional exploration and production activities, while also strengthening the role of local oilfield service providers in supporting the country’s upstream development programs.
