Oman’s OETC Invites Bids for Sadaf 400kV Grid Station Project

Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC), a member of Nama Group, has announced the invitation of bids for the construction of the Sadaf 400kV Grid Station Project, a key development aimed at strengthening the Sultanate’s power transmission infrastructure.

The project scope includes the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a new 400kV grid station. In addition, the project will incorporate a 400kV Loop-in Loop-out (LILO) connection from Suwayhat to the Duqm Industrial Grid Station, ensuring enhanced network reliability and improved power transmission capacity in the region.

This strategic project is expected to support growing electricity demand, particularly in and around the Duqm area, which continues to witness significant industrial and economic development.

OETC has set 28 April 2026 as the current deadline for bid submissions, inviting qualified contractors and consortiums to participate in this important infrastructure initiative.

The Sadaf 400kV Grid Station Project reflects OETC’s ongoing commitment to expanding and modernizing Oman’s transmission network in line with the country’s long-term energy and economic objectives.
