VITO Energy Commences Major Construction Works for North Field Expansion EPC-3 Project in Qatar

VITO Energy Engineering and Construction Co. has officially commenced execution of a major multi-disciplinary construction scope under the RLTO Expansion and Off-Plot Facilities package of the North Field Expansion Project (EPC-3) – NFS CLLNG Balance of Plant (BoP) Project in Qatar.

The 21-month project has been awarded by QatarEnergy, with Técnicas Reunidas, S.A. serving as the EPC contractor. The awarded scope to VITO carries an approximate value of USD 200 million.

Under the contract, VITO will execute a comprehensive range of construction activities including piping prefabrication and erection, steel structure works, module and equipment erection, electrical and instrumentation installation, as well as painting and heat insulation.

Key quantities under the scope include 3,100 tons of steel structure installation, 650 tons of module erection, 1,200 tons of equipment erection, and 350,000 WDI of piping works. In addition, the project covers 125,000 square meters of painting and coating, 130,000 square meters of heat insulation, installation of 160,000 meters of cable tray and conduit, 960,000 meters of cable pulling, and the installation of approximately 3,500 instruments.

The project forms a critical component of Qatar’s broader LNG expansion strategy under the North Field Expansion program. Through coordinated execution across multiple engineering disciplines, VITO will contribute to strengthening key infrastructure that supports the country’s growing LNG production capacity.
