Nesma Infrastructure & Technology has announced the signing of a new contract with Saudi Energy for the replacement of Abqaiq Substation 49 (230/69 kV) in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia.
Valued at over SAR 250 million, the project underscores Nesma’s continued commitment to strengthening the Kingdom’s power infrastructure and supporting the growing demand for reliable and efficient energy systems.
The scope of work includes the complete replacement of the existing substation, enhancing its capacity, reliability, and operational efficiency in line with modern standards. The upgraded facility is expected to play a key role in ensuring stable power supply across the region.
The project is scheduled for completion within 25 months.
