Saudi based developer, ACWA Power chosen the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractor for Rabigh-3 IWP’s 380kV Substation.
ACWA Power has chosen USA based General Electric (GE) to execute 380kV Substation on lump sum turnkey basis
Earlier, During December 2018 ACWA Power signed the Rabigh-3 Independent Water Project (IWP) with the authorities.
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes construction a new indoor 380/110kV Gas Insulated Substation, named as Pump Station-Rabigh 380/110kV BSP and Construction of 380kV Double Circuit overhead transmission line. It also includes protection, control, communication and Substation Automation System (SAS)/SCADA systems.
