Saudi Electricity Company issued new tender for the construction of 115/13.8kV Substation. The project location is in Khafji, eastern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The project is funded by Khafji Joint Operations (KJO). The project will be supervised by Saudi Electricity Company.
Khafji Joint Operations issued the above tender in order to serve the load demand of their facilities in eastern region.
The contractors need to bid on lump sum turnkey basis. Project scope of work includes design, engineering, material, procurement, construction, training.
Major material includes 115kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 115/13.8kV, 50/67MVA Power Transformers, 13.8kV Switchgear, 13.8kV 7MVAr capacitor banks, Protection & Control System, Substation Automation System (SAS), building risk assessment, Telecommunication System, AC & DC System and other auxiliaries.
