Oman’s Ministry of Transport and Communications has issued the tender for consultancy services for supervision of works related to the dualisation of three sections of the Adam-Thumrait road.
The total package of 400km road works has bee divided in to three separate tenders as follows:
- Adam – Thumrait Road, Part – 3 – 132.5km
- Adam – Thumrait, Part – 4 -135km
- Adam – Thumrait Road, Part – 5 -132.5km
Earlier during May 2019, the ministry had opened a 140-km section of the Adam-Thumrait road that links capital Muscat to the city of Salalah.
The scope of work includes supervision of construction works related to the road and bridges. The last date for submitting the bids is 07 November 2019.
Bidders need to submit 1% of the quoted value as bid security.
