Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Reinforcement of 132/33kV Substations 8919 & 8922 in Hail ”
The project location is in Hail, Central region of Saudi Arabia.
The project has been awarded to Saudi based Construction Company, Al Nowaiser for Trading and Contracting (Al Nowaiser).
The value of signed contract is SAR 55,749,000.
Earlier, during December 2019, a total of seven (7) bidders has submitted the proposal.(read more)
Project Description:
Saudi Electricity Company issued a tender for Reinforcement of Existing 132/33kV Substations in 8919 (DARGHAT) & 8922 (AL-HAYIT) in Hail region.
Major Scope of Works involves the following works and activities:
Existing 132/33/13.8kV Substation 8919 :
One (1) number 132kV SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) with seven (7) numbers of 132kV GIS Circuit Breakers and associated equipment including Protection, Control, metering, SCADA, Auxiliary Equipment, Cables and Civil Works.
Existing 132/33kV Substation 8922:
One (1) number 132kV SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) with seven (7) numbers of 132kV GIS Circuit Breakers and associated equipment including Protection, Control, metering, SCADA, Auxiliary Equipment, Cables and Civil Works.
Construction of Terminal Compound and dismantling of existing outdoor equipment is part of the project.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 27 months from Contract Signing Date.
132kV Overhead Transmission line portion of the project has been awarded to Alsharif & KEC Company. (read more)
