Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning (Works), Bahrain in association with National Quarry awarded the project related to Askar Quarry.
The project has been awarded to Bahrain based Construction COmpany, Nass Asphalt.
The value of signed contract is BHD 76,000,000 (1 BHD = 2.65957 USD)
Earlier, during 2015, Ministry invited the bids for the project from qualified companies.
The scope of work of the project includes, Blasting , Operation & Administration of the Askar Quarry.
The main sector of activity that National Quarries is in crushing rocks, which vary in the production of Aggregates, Crushed Stones, Rock, Road Base and Sub base
The objective of National Quarry is to supply the Construction Sector at the lowest possible economic price to facilitate the major development projects either in progress or earmarked for startup.
