Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project Connection of FAL Industrial City Substation 8308 with the 132kV network. The project location is in Riyadh, Central region of Saudi Arabia.
The Project has been awarded to Saudi based Construction Company, Capital Lights Co. For Electro-Mechanics (Capital Lights).
The value of signed contract is SAR 34,287,062.

Project Scope of work includes Design, supply, testing, commissioning and installation of two (2) 132kV Underground cable circuits, Single cable/phase, consisting of o 1200 Sq.mm , Cu conductor, super clean-XLPE, Cu metallic sheath cable complete with all other accessories, from the Substation 8308 to Substation 9048.
The length of each circuit shall be approximately 8.3 km.
Design, supply and installation of approximately 8.3 km of 1×96 cores Non-Metallic Underground Fiber Optic cables along the new 132kV Power Cables route is part of the project.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new cable work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 23 months from Contract Signing Date.
