Projacs secured PMC contract of Riyadh Airport

Riyadh Airports Company awarded Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services contract related to King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), Riyadh.

The project has been awarded to Projacs, a subsidiary of global engineering firm, Egis. (read more)

WABAG Secures $48 million Jeddah Airport 2 Sewage Treatment Plant Contract

India’s VA Tech Wabag Limited announced in a statement that, it has secured an order to execute Jeddah Airport 2 independent sewage treatment plant (ISTP) project at Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The plant will be designed to treat 300,000 Cu.m/day expandable to 500,000 Cu.m/day of wastewater treatment.(read more)

ADNOC awarded $245million Contracts to Upgrade Main Oil Lines and Jebel Dhanna Terminal

UAE’s ADNOC Onshore, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), announced in a statement, the awarding of two Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts to upgrade two Main Oil Lines (MOLs) and crude receiving facilities at the Jebel Dhanna Terminal in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The Projects has been awarded to China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Company Limited – Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi based Target Engineering Construction Co. L.L.C. (read more)

UAQ Signs Agreement to Develop District Cooling System for Masar Destination in Makkah

Umm Alqura for Development and Construction Co. (UAQ), the owner and developer of the Masar destination, which is shaping up under the slogan ‘Dedicated to Makkah’ with King Abdulaziz Road as its core component, announced recently the signing of a service agreement with Saudi Tabreed.

The agreement aims to provide Masar with 12,000 refrigeration tons of cooling services for three years, which will start upon the completion of the project’s infrastructure as the first phase and run until the establishment of a permanent District Cooling Plant within the destination. (read more)

NESMA Secures O&M Contract of Sewage Treatment Plant

Saudi Arabia’s NESMA Water & Energy, a subsidiary of NESMA Holding announces the awarding of contract from Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Saudi Arabia.

As per the terms of the contract, NESMA will work for the Operation and maintenance (O&M) of the sewage treatment plant (STP) of 125,000 cu.m capacity and the main pumping station located in Tabouk City, Northern region of Saudi Arabia. (read more)

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project “Connection of New Al Malqaa Substation 8278 with 132kV Network”. The project location is in Riyadh.

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the project Connection of FAL Industrial City Substation 8308 with the 132kV network. The project location is in Riyadh, Central region of Saudi Arabia.

US based infrastructure consulting firm AECOM , announced in a statement that, it has been appointed to design transport and utilities backbone infrastructure for NEOM, a new model for urbanization and sustainability located in the northwest region of Saudi Arabia. (read more)

SSEM secured $202 million Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Contract

Saudi Arabia’s Marafiq (Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu) awarded the contract to expand Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 8 (IWTP8), Phase 4.

Kuwait signed an agreement of $163m for Jaber Al Ahmad residential city

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW), Kuwait signed an agreement with consortia of Saudi-Kuwait based companies, for the development of Jaber Al Ahmad residential city.

Project scope of work includes the designing, construction, financing, operation, maintenance and transfer of investment to the PAWH. (read more)

Royal Oman Police awarded the project for construction of 2 x 20MVA Substation with associated feeders.

Oman Awarded Onshore Block 70 Oil & Gas Exploration deal

Sweden based Oil & Gas firm, Maha Energy AB (Maha) announced in a statement that it has been awarded a new exploration block by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals of the Sultanate of Oman.

Block 70 is an onshore block that includes the shallow undeveloped Mafraq heavy oil field. The Block is located in the middle of the prolific and oil producing Ghaba Salt Basin in the central part of Oman. (read more)

UAE’s Arada awarded $61 million school construction contract

UAE’s real-estate developer, Arada has awarded a contract to start building the first school at Aljada, the AED24 billion megaproject in the heart of New Sharjah.

The Project has been awarded to local construction firm, Al Zamalek General Contracting. The value of signed contract is AED 224 million (USD 60,993,873).

The school will be constructed on the 61,000 square metre plot and is expected to be open in September 2021 (read more)

Al Murjan Group awarded $106 million Hospital MEP Contract

Saudi Arabia’s Al-Murjan Group awarded a contract to implement finishes and electromechanical works for Mediclinic Al-Murjan Hospital in Jeddah.

The project has been awared to local construction firm, Khaled Ahmed Al-Juffali Holding Company. The value of signed contract is SAR 400 million.

The first phase of the hospital is built on an area of 18,000 sq. meters with a total built up area of 80,000 sq.m (read more).
