Sinopec Oilfield Service Corporation, China announced in a statemen that it has signed a workover rig contract in Kuwait.
The value of signed contract is $360 million.
The project was awarded by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).
The company said in a bourse statement that it will supply 10 onshore drilling rigs to KOC. The duration of the project is six years.
The deal with KOC consolidates the company’s position as the largest onshore drilling contractor in the Middle East, statement said.
