DownTown submits lowest bid of $23.3m for Widening of Janabiya Highway

Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Bahrain received the bidders proposals for Widening of Janabiya Highway (AMAS access Improvement – Package 3).

Twelve bidders has submitted the proposals. Bahrain based construction firm, Down Town Construction Company W.L.L has submitted the lowest bid.

Down Town Construction Company submitted the price of BHD 8.7 million (USD 23.3 million).

The works comprises of the widening of the Janabiya Highway to a dual 3-Lane carriageway road (approximate 4,000m length) including earthworks, asphalt pavement, safety fencing, road marking & signing, storm drainage, landscaping or any other related works.

Contract Duration 90 weeks.

The Project is funding by Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
