Kuwait Receives Lowest Bid of $286 million for Sabiya Power Plant Services Project

Ministry of Electricity & Water & Renewable Energy, Kuwait received bidders proposals for the Provision Of Efficient & Continuous Engineering Services at Sabiya Power Plant.

Three Bidders has submitted the proposals. Kuwait based Construction firm, Alghanim International General Trading and Contracting Company LLC has submitted the lowest bid.

Alghanim submitted the price of KWD 87.28 million (USD 286 million).

Project Scope of Work includes Provision Of Efficient & Continuous Engineering Services For Open Cycle Gas Turbine Station (Stage Two) At Sabiya Power And Water Distillation Plant. The Project is located approximately 100km north of Kuwait City.

Earlier, the Ministry invites bids for the Phase 4 expansion of Sabiya Power Plant. Project Scope of Works includes Supply, installation, operation and maintenance of combined cycle gas turbine units to increase electrical power at the site of the Sabiya Power and Water Distillation Station with a capacity of 900 MW, under phase 4 of the expansion.
