MAPA Group, Turkey, has announced a landmark infrastructure investment in the Kingdom, delivered through its strategic partnership with Limak Holding.
This major project represents a significant step forward in strengthening national water security and advancing long-term sustainability objectives, reinforcing the Kingdom’s commitment to future-ready infrastructure.
Developed under a Build–Own–Operate–Transfer (BOOT) model, the project is designed to deliver a total water transmission capacity of 685,000 cubic metres per day.
The system is supported by high-capacity branch pipelines, advanced pumping stations, and modern power infrastructure, ensuring efficient, reliable, and resilient water delivery.
Extending over approximately 859 kilometres, the project also incorporates potable water storage capacity of around 1,591,000 cubic metres, enhancing operational flexibility and long-term supply reliability.
Featuring bi-directional flow capability and engineered to international standards, the project reflects engineering excellence and robust planning. Construction is scheduled over a 48-month period, with commercial operations targeted for Q2 2030.
This transformative development underscores the strength of international collaboration and a shared commitment to sustainable infrastructure that supports economic growth and community resilience.
