DEWA receives Bids for 45 MIG Jebel Ali Reservoir

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has received competitive bids from leading regional and international contractors for the Construction of the 45 MIG Jebel Ali Reservoir, a strategic infrastructure project aimed at strengthening Dubai’s water storage capacity and enhancing long-term water security.

The tender attracted strong interest from well-established construction and infrastructure companies, reflecting confidence in DEWA’s large-scale development program. The submitted bids include Dhafir Technologies LLC with an offer valued at AED 258.74 million, while Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Private Limited submitted a bid of AED 212.40 million. Green Oasis General Contracting Co. LLC proposed AED 306.43 million, and United Engineering Construction Co. (L.L.C.) submitted a bid of AED 316.00 million. Ramky Infrastructure Limited emerged as the lowest bidder with a proposal of AED 197.37 million.

In addition to the main bids, several contractors submitted alternate offers. These include Ramky Infrastructure Limited with an alternate bid of AED 186.80 million, Dhafir Technologies LLC at AED 251.98 million, Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Private Limited at AED 199.80 million, Green Oasis General Contracting Co. LLC at AED 296.92 million, and United Engineering Construction Co. (L.L.C.) at AED 309.00 million.

The project is planned to be completed within 18 months from the award date. Once operational, the 45 MIG Jebel Ali Reservoir will play a critical role in supporting Dubai’s growing demand for potable water and aligning with DEWA’s strategy to ensure sustainable and resilient utility infrastructure across the emirate.
