31 Companies are bidding for Oman’s 15 MW Solar Project

A total of 31 companies shown their interest to participate in the bidding of Oman’s A’Namaa Poultry SAOC (A’Namaa), 15 MW Solar Project.

Earlier, During February 2020, A’Namaa Poultry SAOC (A’Namaa), invites international developers to bid for solar Power Project in order to supply clean energy for its Ibri project.(read more)

A’Namaa is currently investing an estimated value of Omani Riyals (OMR) 100 million in the establishment of a world-scale integrated poultry farm. The project will be constructed on a 58 sq km site at Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate.

The successful developer will build a 15 MW solar farm on a build, own, transfer (BOT) basis with a commitment to offtake the plant’s electricity output for a 20-25-year period.

At present, bid submission date is 15-June-2020.
