Kuwait’s HEISCO Secures $186.12 million Power Infrastructure Contract

Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Co. K.S.C. (HEISCO), Kuwait has announced that it has received an official award letter from the Ministry of Electricity & Water & Renewable Energy for a significant power and fuel infrastructure project in the country.

The project, titled “Supply, Execution, Commissioning and Maintenance for the Construction of Lines Feeding Al-Khairan Power Plant and Development of the Infrastructure for Fuel Receiving Systems for Al-Zour Plant,” represents a major addition to Kuwait’s energy development program.

The total contract value is KD 57.2 million, equivalent to approximately USD 186.12 million.

Under the scope of work, HEISCO will be responsible for the supply, construction, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of power transmission lines feeding the Al-Khairan Power Plant, as well as the development of critical fuel receiving infrastructure supporting operations at the Al-Zour Power Plant.

This award reinforces HEISCO’s strong position as a leading EPC contractor in Kuwait’s power and industrial infrastructure sector and highlights the company’s continued contribution to strengthening the nation’s energy reliability and capacity.
