Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has awarded the Hamad General Hospital Safety Improvement RMP – Main Packages 1, 2 and 3 contract with a total value of QAR 1,178,869,746.13.
The contract has been awarded to a joint venture between IMAR Trading and Contracting Co. and Al Sraiya Trading and Contracting Co.. The project aims to implement a comprehensive renovation and modernization program at Hamad General Hospital, one of Qatar’s key healthcare facilities.
The scope of work includes upgrading the hospital’s infrastructure, modernizing its systems, and improving various facilities to align with the rapid advancements in the healthcare sector. The improvements are designed to enhance patient safety standards, support advanced medical technologies, and improve the overall hospital environment.
Through this project, Ashghal aims to ensure that Hamad General Hospital continues to meet the growing healthcare demands of the country while maintaining the highest international standards for medical facilities.
The renovation and safety improvement works are also expected to significantly enhance the quality of healthcare services and increase the hospital’s operational efficiency, reinforcing Qatar’s commitment to strengthening its healthcare infrastructure and supporting long-term sector development.
