Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. has announced the signing of a significant contract with SEPCO3 Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. (Branch) for the supply of steel wind towers for the Yanbu Wind Farm project. The contract is valued at SAR 126,000,000.
This milestone follows the award of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract to SEPCO3 in July 2025 for the development of the 700 MW Yanbu Wind Energy Project. The project forms a key part of Saudi Arabia’s National Renewable Energy Program (NREP), which aims to diversify the Kingdom’s energy mix and promote sustainable power generation.
Located in Madinah Province, the Round 4 Yanbu wind power project will have a total installed capacity of 700 MW, making it one of the notable renewable energy developments in the region.
Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. stated that the contract underscores its continued commitment to supporting large-scale renewable energy projects in the Kingdom. The company’s expertise in manufacturing high-quality steel structures positions it as a key contributor to the development of Saudi Arabia’s clean energy infrastructure.
The Yanbu Wind Farm project represents another important step toward achieving the Kingdom’s sustainability goals and advancing the transition to renewable energy sources in line with Vision 2030.
